Commitment to achieving Net Zero

Rara Warehouse Limited is committed to achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, in line with the UK Government's national target, across our business operations.

This Carbon Reduction Plan sets out our current emissions position and the environmental measures we have in place and are working towards, in order to reduce the environmental impact and carbon footprint of our business.

Baseline Emissions Footprint

As a small trading business, our primary sources of emissions are:

• Inbound freight and shipping of sourced products (including international shipping from Nepal)

• Packaging materials used for outbound customer orders

• Domestic delivery/courier emissions for order fulfilment

• Electricity use for day-to-day office and warehouse/storage operations

We do not currently operate manufacturing facilities, company vehicles, or large-scale warehousing, which keeps our direct (Scope 1) emissions low. Our most significant impacts sit within packaging, shipping, and courier-related (Scope 3) emissions.

Note: As a small business, Rara Warehouse Limited is in the process of establishing a formal baseline measurement for future reporting years.

Current Emission Reduction Measures

The following measures are already in place:

• Consolidated shipping: combining stock orders where possible to reduce the number of individual international shipments

• Reduced packaging: using right-sized packaging for orders to minimise material use and void fill

• Recyclable/recycled materials: prioritising recyclable or recycled-content packaging materials where commercially available

• Digital-first operations: invoicing, order confirmations, and customer communications are handled digitally, avoiding unnecessary printing

Planned Future Measures

Over the next 12 months, Rara Warehouse Limited plans to:

• Move to 100% recycled or recyclable packaging materials across all product lines

• Review courier partners to prioritise those with published carbon-offset or low-emission delivery options

• Establish a documented annual emissions baseline to track progress year over year

• Explore switching business electricity supply to a renewable energy tariff

• Reduce non-essential returns and packaging waste through clearer product descriptions and sizing/spec information

Declaration and Sign Off

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been reviewed and approved by senior management of Rara Warehouse Limited and reflects our genuine and ongoing commitment to reducing our environmental impact.

This Plan will be reviewed and updated annually, within 6 months of the end of our financial year.
